I started off this year by re-reading Marie Kondo's best selling book, The Magic Art of Tidying Up. Now I'm just finishing up her second book, Spark Joy. I'm a bit of an organizing, tidying, decluttering junkie so I'v enjoyed these books and the inspiration they offer. I particularly like the idea of keeping only the things that spark joy.
One thing that is currently sparking joy in my life right now - all the blossoms and blooms that are appearing in the neighborhood. I don't have any of these trees in my yard, but there are a few in the empty lot next to me, so I've foraged some branches and brought them inside to enjoy.
What is sparking joy in your life right now?

ReplyDeleteJill, you're already seeing blooms in your area? That's wonderful news! By the end of the week our weather is forecast to be quite spring-like and staying with us all the following week. I expect to see trees blooming and flowers pushing through the soil with all the sunshine expected and warmer conditions. I'm more than ready for the seasons to change. Thanks for sharing such beautiful, cheery images! Happy #WW!
ReplyDeleteI was so exited when I saw blooming here as well, last week, I just love Spring! Beautiful images!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! I am a winter lover and a dark early lover but there is part of the late sunset times that is sparking joy in me right now!
ReplyDeleteNo blooms here - although strangely our trees are trying to bud despite the cold and snow. But, it still gives me Joy because it is a sign that Spring always comes! Beautiful shots.
ReplyDeleteThese are lovely. I especially like the last one.
