the GOOD
In 2016 I'm attempting to do #52weeksofstorytelling with a different theme each week.
Week 8/52 - Contentment
There was a time when I aspired to being known. I wanted to be a well-known Suzuki violin teacher who traveled the country teaching at summer Institutes. When I first started blogging, I wanted to be successful and be a well-known blogger. Motherhood and circumstances has changed all that. I barely teach anymore, and am almost completely inactive in the Suzuki world. And blogging...let's just ay I have a handful of regular readers, but certainly nothing like I'd dreamed. You know what...I'm completely ok with all of it. I've found great contentment in being a homeschool mom who blogs as a hobby. When I realized that my own daughters were my greatest violin teaching adventure every, and that my small blogging community was cozy and comfortable, I was grateful and content. So here's to being "just a mom"...it's a great thing to be!
the RANDOM

ReplyDeleteLove the macro shots of flowers.
ReplyDeleteAll such great photos. Smiling that you enjoy a diet Coke now and then as do I.
ReplyDeleteSpring is in the air but it is too early to say it has arrived here.
ReplyDeleteI am always inspired by your beautiful photos!
ReplyDeleteI love the frog piggy backing on the zebra.
And I read the post about your neighbor---I'm sorry. Making a garden for Carol will comfort all the neighbors.

ReplyDeleteI love the tray for the Lenten spiral..it looks perfect.
Ah the eyes have it in that first shot - a beautiful capture #LTTL
ReplyDeleteOh enjoy your time as a mom, which I know you do. It's fleeting (the younger years) and you will never regret these years spent focusing on your kiddos. Woohoo for you being content!!
