Black and White Wednesdays ~ Clematis
Isn't this clematis seed head amazing? It's so Dr. Seuss-ish. I actually find it just as beautiful, if not a little more so, than the clematis flower in bloom.
I have a Nikon D3300. I've had it for a little under a year. For Christmas my husband got me How to Create Stunning Digital Photography and I've been slowly working through it. I've been reading your blog for a long time and can see the great progress you've made! Any suggests for me on what to read/watch to continue learning more?
PS...LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your pictures today. God's creation is stunning!
are you on instagram? I've been learning alot over there through a hub called "beyondthesnapshot"
Also..Lisa Kerner is a great resource and inspiration. She blogs at http://www.lisakerner-slp.com/blog/ and has written quite a few tutorials. I now link up to quite a few photography blogs with themes and it's helped me grow in my skills.
I've had my camera for more than 2 years now (maybe even 2) and I'm still learning.
Maybe I should do a post about who I follow and where I learn....
Yes, that would be a great post! :) Thanks for the information, I'll check out those suggestions! I am on instagram but haven't taken the time yet to figure out how it works. I need to though, especially if it can help me to learn. Random question but do you hike with your camera or are most of your hiking pictures from your phone?
Most of my photos here are with my dslr - you can tell if it's a camera pic because it will be square and not as big. My Monday posts (good, random, fun) are collages of my instagram pics which are usually all phone. So, YES...I take my dslr hiking with me!
I don't do much editing. Sometimes I crop and add brightness through PMB launcher - the program I use to get the pics off my camera and onto my computer. And for my black and white pics, I will use an editing program - lately I've been using BeFunky because it's free and works on my computer.
That is so cool!!
ReplyDeleteThat looks really amazing. Great capture.
ReplyDeleteYes! Very Dr. Seuss-ish! Makes me wonder what he must have drawn on for all his inspiration!
ReplyDeleteA very lovely look! Tom The Backroads Traveller
ReplyDeleteLove it ~ such creativity in your well composed and taken photo!
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend coming to you,
artmusedog and carol
