Friday ~ Point

giving my brain a workout today
writing this post in phrases of
six words using the theme point
sharing five random thoughts with you

1. Here's a very old photo taken
from Crown Point, the first time
I visited this beautiful Oregon landmark.

2. It's been two years now and
I'm slowly learning how to use
my dslr....most of the time
it's an expensive point and shoot,
but I'm determined to learn more.

3. Give up coffee or chocolate or
facebook or french fries for Lent?
What's the point? For me, the
discipline of fasting opens the door
to focusing on God and repentence.

4. At this point in our upcoming
travel plans I'm faltering a bit...
wondering why on earth we would
go on such a trip when
we could stay comfortable and safe
in our cozy home and community.

5. "You search the Scriptures because you
think they give you eternal life.
But the Scriptures point to me!"
(said Jesus in John 5:39)
