{pretty, happy, funny, real}

I love this link-up. It's such a fun way to record the beautiful things in my life through photos.


{pretty}
a new hanging plant for my patio ~ 
I can see it from my kitchen window when I'm at the sink



and some new plants for my garden ~ I love black-eyed susan varieties

We recently redid our bedroom ~ new bed, bedding, curtains, plant, candles, etc.
I simply love it and it makes me happy every time I walk in here.



Also, the "August fairy" left me candy on my bed this morning. Tuesday I was telling my girls that since mommy's birthday is in August, they have to be nice to me all month. My youngest surprised me with making my bed and leaving this gift for me on my bed this morning.



{funny}
my eldest girl used the natural coloring of our patio to create this guy's head... 
Do you see how the area inside his head is lighter?
She traced that circle, then created this guy.
When I looked out the window this morning, I realized what she did and giggled.



{real}
we are swimming in zucchini and I've become THAT neighbor, 
THAT person that offers it to whomever she sees.

    Love it, all of it.

    It's that time of year when people in the country lock their car doors lest the neighbors leave bags of zucchini in the passenger seat... ;)

    I wonder if the "fairy" thing would work for me next month? (my birthday is in september)

      So far my bed has been made for me two days in a row! My oldest seems to go out of her way to tell me August isn't important to her : ) She's funny, that one! Start prepping your family now about the importance of September.
