Weeding through my Clutter

I've made some great progress when it comes to decluttering. What I'm not so good at is maintenance. As I look around my house, I see clutter everywhere. It's a little ridiculous.

I have homeschool clutter, library book clutter, dinner prep clutter, violin clutter, etc.

Apparently I have a hard time putting things away where they belong.

I'm beginning to realize that clutter is like a weed. It needs constant attention. If you let up, even for one day, it multiplies and begins choking what is around.

I'm off to "weed my garden" (put away my clutter).

  1. I like to think of "picking up" and "clutter" as two different things. Delusional? Probably! What I do know is that having less makes my "messes" a lot smaller! Instead of needing a weekend to pick up after myself, twenty minutes is usually enough now. :) Hmmm. I'm looking at the computer desk garden that I need to weed right now!
