Sweet Sixteen

My firstborn celebrated her 16th birthday over the weekend! She had a sweet celebration with a few friends - they went for coffee and to a park. We are so thankful it wasn't raining or too cold. Then the four of us went to a local restaurant and dined in their outdoor dining area. It's so weird to be dining outdoors in the middle of winter!

  1. 16 is worth celebrating! Curious what your daughter's own take was on that fact? Yes, I can imagine it must be weird to eat a meal with one' coat on, but that fire is pretty to look at! Thrilled for sharing this important marker of your daughter with All Seasons! Wishing her success and that the desires of her heart may be accomplished in her life. By the way, your other daughter's cartoons are so good! Jesh

    1. She said it was one of the best birthdays she has had! We've always kept things simple and family focused when it comes to b-day celebrations...so this really wasn't a big adjustment.

  2. How fun. She's a lovely young lady and the celebration looked fun. My granddaughter turns 16 this coming week.
