Reflecting on February and Looking Ahead to March

I read a total of 9 books

I ran 28.5 miles

we went on 2 field trips (the symphony and roller skating)

we skiied 1 time

we saw 1 movie (Moana)

I enjoyed playing and listening to the music of Mendelssohn

we recorded 3 songs

we played 1 gig

And now a new month is upon us! And how perfect is it that Lent starts on March 1st? I am still formulating exactly how I'll observe Lent this year, but I'm gearing up to do another Whole30 (no more sugar, grains, dairy or alcohol). And definitely taking facebook off my phone.

Other thoughts I'm mulling over include reading only classics, not buying myself anything new that's not essential, writing and sending 40 notes of encouragement and finishing the Uncluttered course I'm taking.

It seems like a lot, but I really love challenges. We'll see how it goes - or what gets thrown out the window first!

  2. Did you post about the Uncluttered challenge and I missed it?
Re: Efrem Smith's book--if you have an extra copy, I'd like it but don't just send me yours :) you can contact me at willowknits at yahoo Also, I could ask friends still working at WI LA if there are copies hanging around there.
