Our Homeschool Space

Just wanted to share a bit of what our homeschool space looks like. We don't have a separate school room, but we do have desks that the girls use and they are in our front room - I think this space is supposed to be the formal living and dining room, but we use it as a music room, school space and office.

I would love bigger (taller and wider) bookshelves for this space. I love having our violins out,
but would love to have more space for books - especially all our library books!
My dream is to have a double bookshelf here that is as tall as the window. 

Maybe I care too much about details, but I want our space to be beautiful (not distracting) and to encourage learning. This year I started out by putting this basket/box in the middle of the desks and so far it's been quite useful.
