we were published in our neighborhood magazine! Dorky but fun.
And this is funny....
And this is funny....
I've been eagerly waiting for the release of this book. My copy came on release day and I glanced through it and put it on the bookshelf. A couple days later I got a text from a friend in California with a pic of a quote in the book - she said, "this makes me happy". I had to squint and as I read what was on the page I realized it was my quote! I don't even remember submitting it so clearly wasn't expecting to be quoted in this book.

The frogs are so fun right now! There are certain plants and flowers where they seem to congregate and I love going out and looking at them. We have them naturally because of where we live, but my girls were also given quite a few frog egg sacs and have been keeping them in this tank (which is now full of tadpoles).
I loved this little one hiding in the petals of my roses.
I'm linking up with {pretty, happy, funny, real},
I so love your photos!

Your neighborhood is such a gorgeous place!!
ReplyDeleteI love your frogs! And you all look quite professional on the cover of the magazine. I would love to hear you play!
ReplyDeleteYou have a gorgeous neighborhood and that's something I've been meaning to do, walking around the hood looking more closely. Good coordination over the lily pads. That orange flower looks like a flame, stunning.
ReplyDeleteOh my word, Mother Nature is so wonderful. I am interested in the book you've been quoted in--sounds like an interesting concept.
ReplyDeleteThese are so great! I love seeing all the natural things surrounding you. I love your cover of the mag. I shoot for a similar neighborhood publication, and it's so fun!
ReplyDeleteSo much fun and goodness here, Jill! The lotus or starflowers are beautiful! I especially like your frogs, and that quote! Good for you! Have a wonder-filled week!
ReplyDeleteI love your frogs... and the imagination you have for you frog fridays on IG.
