Week 12/52 - Brave
I almost skipped this one because I was having a hard time coming up with something for "brave". When I think of someone who is brave, I think of my friend Karen, and the women she helps in Burma....women like this one pictured here. Karen is a founding member of the Free Burma Rangers and she and her family step in to care for the refugees who are fleeing from the Burmese army. Two years ago we went to Thailand, crossed into Burma and got a glimpse of what is happening. There are a lot of brave people enduring and fighting injustice all over our world. It makes me feel very small.
