taking a moment to find joy in the little things

We had our first family gig since November. It's fun having the girls join us - it gives our performances a much different vibe.
{funny}
We went to a homeschool skate this past week and my husband even joined us. Our local skating rink is caught in a time warp...it's retro-tastic!

These girls....we've been on a pretty good streak in our homeschool journey lately. I think a lot of it has to do with ME saying "no" to non-essential things and having the time to prepare for working with them.
I'm linking up with {pretty, happy, funny, real},
Skate World? 😊
ReplyDeleteYou must be a bit further south than we are as our gardens are still dormant. I can't wait til spring.
ReplyDeleteWonderful photos of the "gig" as well!

Ah the Pacific NW green, I miss it! Hopefully I'll be there the last week of April!
ReplyDeleteLOVE that roller skating rink! And the pink cake looks very valentiny!
ReplyDeletelove the irises and daffodils! <3 have a beautiful day!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful purple tulips. I like the violin portrait of your girl by the window.
ReplyDeleteI love that you have bulbs blooming already! Mine are so close, but we just had some cooler weather and rain again today. And how fun that you all went roller skating!
ReplyDeleteAh, love to see the fiddles out. Great photos, and so true about saying NO to things that clutter life up -- make room for the important things!
ReplyDeleteSo fun to see the daffodils arriving. You know we've almost made it through winter when that happens.
