March

taking a moment to find joy in the little things

{pretty}
We've had insanely beautiful weather lately - usually our late winter/early spring days are cloudy and gray with drizzle, but not this year. We've had sunshine, blue skies and an early onset of spring. It's just been gorgeous!

{happy}

We love watching all the different birds that visit our bird feeder every day, but man they go through the bird seed so quickly! Yesterday I was outside getting these shots and all of a sudden the five birds that were hanging around the feeder flew away - seconds later a hawk soared through the yard not too far above my head. It was so cool. Then earlier today I was standing at my kitchen window doing dishes and a red-headed hummingbird showed up. He was a beauty!

{funny}
Some days the girls and the bunnies are inseperable. Here my oldest is doing some sort of work at the computer and the bunnies are right next to her in a box!

{real}
I have a really hard time concentrating on school when the weather is so nice. I want to be outside - walking, running or just playing in the garden. We actually need a rain day so we can get some studying done.

  7. Our PNW weather has been amazing! We love feeding the birds but the larger varieties go through the seed like crazy. We have a bird bath nearby and it is so funny to see it completely full. Beautiful pictures.

  8. Such beautiful photos!
    As much as I'm looking forward to Spring temperatures rising, I feel the same way when it comes to school. I try to get as much done as early in the morning as possible so that we can spend the later morning and early afternoon hours out in the sunshine.
