It was my birthday over the weekend and it was a big one....
It was a lovely day spent with family and friends.
I loved spending the first half of the day with my church family.

After church we went out for lunch and walked some trails.

When we finally got home there was a house full of people waiting to surprise me and help me celebrate the new decade I've entered. Can I really be 40?

ReplyDeleteGlad you had a great Birthday, welcome to the 40s club! I have been part of it for two years now. Its fun to look back and see how far I've come in my live, with my friends, my family, the way I think now, and my walk with the Lord. I love it! I'm sure you will too.
Turning 40 was a breeze for me…..but 42 was a crisis! Now, 10+ years later, it seems so silly to get caught up in age. Some days I feel 30ish and some days I feel 80ish! Looks like you had a lovely birthday, regardless of how many candles were on the cake! Love the tree shots!
