It doesn't take much to make me smile and find contentment.
Sometimes it's an amazing view on a hike...
sometimes it's a taste of local wine...
sometimes it's a hug from my daughter...
This week it was some cuttings from a friend's garden.
Now the beauty and scent of lilacs fill my home and heart.
I didn't set out to make May a month of simplifying, but everything is pointing me in that direction.
I need to find focus again, and to do that I need to clear some clutter.
Physical clutter and mental clutter.
Here are some great links I've come across to help me on the journey and inspire me.

I printed this out and did this with my girls this morning ~ they LOVED it!
As I clear out the clutter and search for focus, my prayer is that God will be at the center.
What are you doing to simplify?
Wow, Jill. Husband and I have looked at about million tiny houses. The one on Tiny House Build is hands down my favorite. Wow. And lilacs are my favorite scented flower. I carried a big bouquet of them at my wedding -fresh cut from the yard. :) m
ReplyDeleteIsn't it a beautiful use of space? I love the spaciousness of the kitchen and all the windows. I would love to live in a space like that!
DeleteVisiting from Sandra's and I'm so glad I came by. Beautiful photo. One other book comes to mind: 7: An experimental mutiny against excess by Jen Hatmaker. Blessings!
