Roots
“They will be like a tree
planted by the water
that sends out its roots by the stream.
It does not fear when heat comes;
its
leaves are always green.
It has no worries in a year of drought
and never fails
to bear fruit.”
Jeremiah 17:8
This picture captures the essence of the scripture!

ReplyDeletethose are beautiful old tree roots.
ReplyDeleteI have seen that pile of roots in Pt. Defiance Park since I was a kid. Now I am 68 and only get to the NW about once a year or so to see family. BUT I have a number of photos taken of those roots. However, yours is better. AND since our world has so many, maybe I'm seeing it in the wrong place. But this just grabbed me. Anyhow, photo and Word has blessed the Lord and many of His family. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment...I actually took this photo at Hoyt Arboretum in Portland. Now I want to go to Ft. Defiance Park to see the roots you are referring to!
