A beautiful weekend hike on a new to us trail. So, so pretty and hiking makes me so, so happy.

After the hike we drove across the Columbia River and had this beautiful view of the Gorge. Can't believe someone was sailing in January!

And on our way home, a gorgeous sunset!

We spotted Big Foot in the woods on our hike...he's real!

And not hike related...after our hike the girls took showers and then closed the bathroom door. I went in to put some laundry away and found this. My girls, who claims to hate math, had dome some long division on the mirror "just so she would remember how to do it when we started back to school."

This girl...the one who made me a momma for the first time...she's 9 today. 9 on the 9th!
