{p, h, f, r} and Life Through the Lens

I'm taking a tiny break from my less is more series to reflect on this past week's blessings...

{pretty}
I found plenty of pretty on a walk to the park with camera in hand. This has been an exceptionally beautiful fall in these parts.

one of the prompts for #capturingblessings this week was sunset -
I feel blessed to live right across the street from this gorgeous lake.

My husband had the opportunity to fly over Mt. St. Helen's with a friend this week. It's been gorgeous and clear and he got some amazing shots of the crater and surrounding area. That's Mt. Rainier in the background.

{happy}
I successfully made applesauce in the crockpot. It was easy and delicious!

We've had the most beautiful weather here the past couple weeks. We've had fun hanging out and making the most of fall.

{funny}
I walked into the kitchen at lunch to find this....

 Something in her brain told her to stand up on the stool and then lean over so she could read her book.

And then, for some reason, she decided to stand on her toes. She was completely oblivious to the fact that I was there taking pictures of her.

{real}
As much as I love our desks and our set up, I've had to start doing this so the girls can concentrate and do their work without whatever it is kids do to distract one another.

  2. Your photos are beautiful! My toddler has discovered climbing on the table to get at what she wants, I hope it turns into climbing to read when she gets older!

  3. Oh my goodness Jill, I thought I visited you already, so sorry my friend. Man, that lake shot is even more beautiful here, wow! LOL, we had the same problem with school when my kids were little... now thank goodness they can manage to concentrate a bit longer. I still have to yield the word focus every now and then ;-)
