Nature in the Home

Last week I wrote about how much I love spending time in nature. It's true. I also love to find ways to bring nature into our home. There was a time when I decorated with fake plants and flowers, but those days are long gone. Now I do what I can to bring nature into our home in its natural state.

When we were at the tulip farm I bought a couple pots of tulips. Not only can I enjoy them in my home for several weeks, I can then plant them in my garden to enjoy again next spring.

I love adding pops of color by bringing in small arrangements and putting them on display in my kitchen or bathroom. This bouquet below was a gift to me from my girls. They went on a walk with their dad and then rang the doorbell when they returned to surprise me.

And these came straight out of my garden....

Do you try to bring nature into your home to add touches of beauty?

    1. I hadn't thought of it earlier, but I suppose potting some bulbs yourself would work too!
