Early December in these parts is not the most beautiful time of year.
Gray skies, drizzle, no blanket of white snow, barren trees...
And yet, if you take time to look, you still see beauty everywhere. Sometimes it's hiding under your feet, or you have to lay down and look at it from a different angle, but it's there.
We get a lot of grey dismal foggy days here during the winter, which make me want to crawl under my covers for a few months. But today! Oh, it was beautiful outside! I even had my window down in the car on the way home from my errands.
ReplyDeleteHi Jill: Earlier this afternoon, I discovered jill-foleyjourney whilst browsing other minimalist blogs. Keep up the great work! Question: I've developed a keen interest in picture-taking, and am very impressed with the pics displayed in your December 10th post. I'm curious - what make and model camera took these pics? Did you use a standard lens? Thanks, and enjoy your day. Eric
ReplyDeleteHey Eric - thanks for your comment. I use a Sony a77 and used a DT 2.8/16-50 SSM lens. The camera is new to us (this year) and we bought it after researching many, many options. Cannon and Nikon tend to be the leaders in DSLR cameras, but we are very happy with the Sony.
