{pretty, happy, funny, real}

I just love this time of year.

Someone turned 6 this past week!

Some weeks I don't have any funny pictures, but this week several funny moments were captured.

A box-head child.

a masked, crowned ballerina

And a 7 year old playing a full-size viola!
The crowns are probably worth mentioning, too. They made these on Monday and have worn them everywhere this week. Tuesday my youngest wore hers to a quintet concert, and they both wore them to the pumpkin patch yesterday. I even found my youngest sound asleep in her bed with hers on one night!

I'm having a tooth implant - today - maybe it's happening while you are reading this. While the implant is healing, I will be wearing this temporary tooth. Approximately 4 months - maybe longer. I'm not very excited about it, as it's my front tooth.

I'm linking up with Like Mother, Like Daughter

  1. Ah, good luck with the implant! Hope the false one isn't too obvious :) Love the new pic on the header!

    1. It's not pretty, that's for sure. It's actually really uncomfortable right now - I'm sure I'll get used to it, though. I have some pics up on our family blog.

  2. Such beautiful colors up where you are! We don't really see a lot of fall color in our area until next month unless we head to the foothills.

    Boxes are so entertaining!

  3. I said a prayer for you with your dental work. I'm always such a chicken about those things!

    1. Thank you Laura. It went really well - no pain during or after. Now I have this annoying temporary partial to wear for the next 3-4 months. Eating is still a bit tricky.
