The other day I was out running errands and decided to stop in at the local children's consignment shop. It's been a while since I have been in there and it seemed like a good time to check my account.
Seeing how it's a no spend month for us, I was hoping to cash in my account balance and get some much needed fall clothes for my daughters.
My account balance was $36.46.
I began looking through the racks. I found 3 pair of pants and 1 shirt for my oldest, and 2 dresses for my youngest.
The sales associate rung up my total.....$36.40!
Sweet success, with $.06 to spare.
I love that flower shirt, and the dress with the striped sleeves. How cute! Even better is your commitment to do a no spend month. My spending is fairly low, but I could stand to do a no spend month as well. I'll be keeping my eye out for how it treats you Jill. :)
ReplyDeletep.s. I bet "back to school" clothes shopping is easier since you homeschool!
Isn't consignment shopping wonderful? I get such satisfaction when I am able to come home with all I need for such a small amount. Congratulations!
