An Afternoon Walk

Seasons can be so fleeting, so when we get a break in the rain and in our schedule, I'm trying to be intentional about getting out and soaking up the beauty of fall. I wish the camera could fully captures what my eyes see, but sometimes the colors just don't transfer they same.

I specifically wanted to find these particular mushrooms that I spotted in this same park last year. I was thrilled that there were several growing!

  2. Yes, I have that feeling not only in Fall but also in painting, that what I see on paper or canvas does not translate to the wonder and beauty I experience. But if you're good (and you are), at least the idea will come over to others:) Love the hydrangea, and the whimsy mushrooms, and love the tender row of leaves. Thank you so much for sharing there in ALL SEASONS! Have a beautiful week!

  5. I totally know what you mean about the camera not capturing the vibrancy of the colors! It's a just an autumn wonderland this year. My favorite is of the moss covered curb with all the leaves.

  6. What a beautiful beautiful place to walk!
Fall is the hardest season to photograph because the camera doesn't 'see' the same colors our eyes do.
