Good, Random, Fun ~ Week 31

the GOOD
In 2016 I'm attempting to do #52weeksofstorytelling with a different theme each week.
Week 30/52 - Believe

I believe that in every area of my life, there is room for growth. Spiritually, academically, physically, musically, in my relationships, in my hobbies, in my responsibilities...you get the idea. But growth takes some deliberate intention, discipline and time. One of the reasons I love gardening so much is that it helps me understand all these areas of my life. Sometimes beautiful blooms appear out of nowhere...they are delightful surprises, but for the most part, a garden takes daily tending to keep it beautiful. Weeds are a constant struggle, and sometimes seeds fail to grow. I have to constantly remind myself that it takes work and regular attention.

the RANDOM
It was such good and beautiful week filled with adventure and friends.
We hiked around Mt. St. Helens, I met Adrienne (from Boston)  for coffee at the airport, I hiked to a waterfall with Marlennis (from the Dominican Republic), and so much more!

It was #myweekofwater over at @its_my_week and these are the water shots I posted this week.

the FUN
One day on instagram I saw many photos edited with an app called Prisma. I decided to download it and give it a try. Each filter is a different art style and it was fun to see how it transformed the original photo.

I don't have the original here, but you can see four different versions of one of my frogs.

I'm linking up with Good, Random, Fun , Seasons and Life Through the Lens
