Dahlia Farm

I love how fertile the PNW is and everything that grows here. We can visit tulip farms in the spring, landscape nurseries and vineyards in the summer and orchards in the fall.

We have the rainforest, rose gardens, japanese gardens and more! But one of my favorite places to visit in late summer is the dahlia farm.

The Swan Island Dahlia farm grows over 360 varieties of dahlias and they let the public walk the rows for free during the blooming season.

For a flower lover like me, it's a little slice of heaven....all different shapes, sizes and colors

Here are just a few of the photos I took... (come back for more later in the week!)
