there are many ways to limit
the total number of your possessions.
try dressing with only thirty-three
pieces of clothing for three months
buy something new, discard something old
only keep items that bring joy
keep what is lovely and useful
limit personal possessions to 100 items
Do these limits seem unreasonable or
too confining? I've found so much
freedom in paring down our possessions.
Having healthy limits and boundaries when
it comes to what we own
and what we do brings peace,
I really appreciate this Jill - have been paring down our household as well and it brings such freedom. We don't realize the hold our possessions can have on us. Peace, joy and order. Yes, striving for that!

ReplyDeleteI've heard of people doing this. I can't imagine doing it myself but at times it would be nice to have less to pick up after myself.
ReplyDeletewe, or I, and moving to the minimalism lifestyle... I am slowly winning my hubby over. But I moved to the capsule closet this spring, and it has been freeing. LOVE it.
