Tulips, Bubbles and Bridges

taking a moment to find joy in the little things

{pretty}
We took our annual visit to the tulip farm and it was gorgeous!

Over the weekend we explored some new to us places of our city....
like the St. John's Bridge and Cathedral Park.

{happy}
Plenty of mud at the tulip field to make my girls happy!

and plenty of tulips to make me happy!

I've been wearing my Grandma's ring the past few weeks - I always loved it as a little girl and when I was 16 my Grandma gave it to me. I've been saving it to pass on to one of my girls when they are older, but have started wearing it again. I had it on at the tulip field and decided to take some photos of it.

We discovered a lovely new (to us) walk along the river in Portland. It was fun to walk under the bridges and see a different perspective of the city.

 At the park, under the bridge there was a guy making HUGE bubbles and my girls had so much fun chasing them and popping them.

{funny}
At the tulip farm my girls talked me into going on the "very bumpy" cow ride. There were several other kids, but I was the only adult. After 10 seconds I realized why...."very bumpy" means "very bumpy"...something only a kid would like.

{real}
I think I found the tulip graveyard at the tulip field...I wanted to ask if I could bring them home with me because even dying tulips are pretty!

    It's so fun to see your girls still enjoying their childhood, I am glad they are not growing up too fast. The bubble pictures are super fun.
