And then she was 10....

Can I tell you how excited I am to have a 10 year old? Sure, it means I'm older and we're transitioning into a new stage of parenting, but it's exciting to see my girl growing up. I've loved almost every minute of my journey as a mom and sometimes I lament over the fact that my girls are growing up so quickly. But more than anything, I want to fully embrace where we are - who they are - currently and experience it at its fullest. I'm not longing for days past or for the future. I'm happy to be here right now.

My girl is and always has been unique. She's incredibly smart and artistic and just talented in so many ways. I'm grateful to be her mama.
