taking a moment to find joy in the little things
{pretty}
{happy}
While out walking near our favorite river, we noticed a carriage ride. It turned out to be free (accepting donations for a local charity) and the line wasn't too long so we waited our turn.
Look how close the deer is...this was in the middle of a neighborhood
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas around here! We have decorated our violins and are busy practicing our favorite Christmas carols and hymns to share with nursing home residents and our church family in the next couple weeks.
{funny}
We went to a fundraiser for a local shelter for homeless families and it was a wine tasting event. There was a silent auction and we won the giant bottle of wine! I guess I need to have a party....
{real}
I don't have any of my out-of-town gifts ready to mail. At this point, it's not my fault. I'm waiting for what I ordered to be finished and shipped to me.
I'm linking up with It's the Little Things, {pretty, happy, funny, real},
Now that is a bottle of wine!! Love that you saw a rainbow!
ReplyDeleteThe rainbow was such a nice surprise....
DeleteI love your photos and it makes me want to go back to Central Oregon soon...except for the drive over the pass when the weather is bad!
ReplyDeleteYour pretties sure are! Love seeing your nature shots.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Kim
