The girls and I did a color run over the weekend. And by run I mean we mostly walked.
As you ran (or walked) there were different color stations where they threw powder at you.
It was messy and fun.

You are probably thinking this photo belongs under the category {pretty} and it IS quite pretty. But it's here under {funny} because it's October 20 something and my cosmos are JUST beginning to bloom. I would enjoy them so much more if it was the middle of summer. Right now I'm in autumn mode and want everything to be orange, red, yellow and brown.

I feel that we are finally into a good routine of school...just in time for a week break. In some ways I wish we weren't taking a break, but in other ways I know the break will be good and even offer it's own educational opportunities that are different from our normal routine. Hopefully we won't lose too much momentum.
