giving my brain a workout today
writing this post in phrases of
six words using the theme twist
sharing five random thoughts with you
1. got some new wine glasses recently
really like the twisted glass inside
2. trying to read three classics annually
my next classic is Oliver Twist
3. i really, really dislike doing yoga
twisted triangle pose - no thank you
two knee spinal twist pose - maybe
4. purple robe, twisted crown of thorns
prince of peace, king of kings
Christ died for you and me
5. For as churching cream produces butter,
as twisting the nose produces blood,
so stirring up anger produces strife.
the voice of the LORD twists the
oaks and strips the forest bare.
And in his temple all cry,
"Glory!"

reminds me of the Celtic cross. Irish times. do you have a favorite wine. i keep trying to find ones that are not to wild. i like stuff i can drink with most meals. don't want to have to get something that goes with only certain types of food or desserts. happy weekend!! ( :
ReplyDeleteWe live in Oregon's wine country and are surrounded by local choices, most of which are good! I prefer red wines, but don't really have a favorite varietal. Most general red table wines are good... I also buy a lot of my wine from Trader Joes or World Market - prices seem to be better at both places.
DeleteBeautiful glasses. Nice photos, great list.

DeleteLove those wine glasses and hope you have an opportunity to put them to use ASAP! I probably should yoga but it really holds no interest for me. Very nicely chosen scripture passages to begin the weekend.

DeleteI just find yoga to be boring.
Wow, Jill, creative!

DeleteVery creative blog! Those wine glasses are stunning. Wine is always more enjoyable in pretty glasses....although I've been known to also enjoy it from a red Solo cup ;)
