taking a moment to capture contentment and joy in every day life

{pretty}
Still so much pretty around these parts. We've had a spectacular fall when it comes to weather and fall foliage.

{happy}
We've had the privilege and honor of watching this little guy three times this past couple weeks. He's so much fun and it's great to see my girls loving on a baby. Kay was eager to give him his bottle before his nap and I was happy to let her.

{funny}
I left the room for a moment and when I came back it appeared she might be the one needing the nap!

And this girl....my creative one? She found some packing paper and proceeded to do this.

{real}
I successfully completed not one, but two 31 days series this year. One on Compassion Family about the ministry of Compassion International and the other here (less is more). It was hard work getting posts up every day. I learned a lot and I'm glad I did it. I'm also glad it's over.

Finally, I've got child packets for five kids who are waiting for a sponsor. Three of them are considered PRIORITY because they have been waiting 9+ months. I'd love to connect YOU with one of these kids. Let me know and I'll send you the child packet!

I'm linking up with Like Mother, Like Daughter

  1. I love your dd's creativity with packing paper. It's amazing what they can come up with when they have access to the most basic of materials.!

    1. My husband thought I was crazy for rushing out to capture it - but it was so, so beautiful!
