{pretty, happy, funny, real}

taking a moment to capture contentment and joy in every day life

our first remodeling project is done and the results make me happy!

new tile, new paint, new vanity, new mirror

I have no idea what this is about, but this is how she practiced her violin yesterday

and this one stood on top of a box

For dinner I made a casserole called "Supper Surprise" (that's really the name on the recipe). When I went to get the pasta, I realized I didn't have enough of one kind. I'm trying really hard to used up what's in the pantry, so I pulled out 4 different kinds of pasta (including jumbo shells!) and cooked them all together.

{real}
We got to go cross country skiing this past weekend, which made me happy. But every time we ski, my Raynaud's syndrome flares up and makes me uncomfortable for a bit. Thankfully it doesn't last too long.

Now that the first bathroom project is done, it's time to move on to the second one. This one is much larger and there's quite a bit more work to do.

  1. You are making me itchy to start my spring cleaning and painting! And I love the violin picture with her in the laundry basket! Those are the best moments to capture, aren't they?

    1. There is a waiting list for them - they are handmade by a teenager in Canada. It's worth the wait, and worth the cost (in my opinion). You can enter your info on this website, and you'll be notified when some are available.

      I love that you can use it for more than one holiday.
