{pretty, happy, funny, real}

taking a moment to capture contentment and joy in every day life

{pretty}

 ~in summer I can't get enough of flowers and in autumn I can't get enough of trees and leaves~

 {happy}
My girl gets is reading better and better every day. She has turned a corner and actually LIKES to read now.

We had another great family adventure this week. I love spending time with my family, and am so thankful for all the opportunities we have to make memories.

{funny}
another math pose

After 30 minutes of trick-or-treating, my girls were eager to return home so they could hand out candy! I really think they enjoyed this part of the evening more than getting candy themselves.

They would look out the window for approaching trick-or-treaters, then open the door for them. I don't think more than two people actually rang the doorbell because my girls beat them to it almost every time.

  1. I found you blog through LMLD... I too have girls & am a violin teacher! I just started my older two on lessons and I'm excited for the time they can give performances like your girls. I'm also considering home schooling... a little intimidated by the idea, but excited to try!

    Love those queen costumes!

  4. Those peppers are beautiful!

    The math pose is fantastic. I was homeschooled as a kid and remember well doing school in all sorts of strange places and positions.
