Ham and Cheese Broccoli Ring

I'm not sure why I'm writing this post. I'm not a food blogger by any means.

In fact, the kitchen and I don't really get along. At best, we tolerate each other.

It's not that I don't have a lot of experience in the kitchen. I cook a lot. Every single day. I'm just not great at it. I was not born with natural culinary skills.

This particular meal might offend some of my more nutritiously minded readers - sorry about that. It just happens to be what I made for dinner tonight, and it's one of the meals my kids actually thank me for making. It makes me feel really good to hear, "Thank you for making this mom!"

I think I'm writing this post mainly because I got a new camera and had fun taking pictures as I prepared dinner.

I'm sure you've heard of this one, but in case you haven't....here are step by step instructions (your welcome).

Unwrap your crescent rolls (2 packages)

Unroll them (I alternate mine so the insides are more evenly covered)

While you are doing this, steam your broccoli.

And cut up some ham and cheese

Then arrange the broccoli, ham and cheese on the crescent rolls.

Fold the ends over (to make tunnels as my kids call it)

Bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees

Then eat it up. I like mine with a little mustard on the side.

My kids love this and it's the easiest way for me to get them to eat broccoli.

Wow...two food posts in a row. I promise I'll stop soon.
