Beach Day

Yesterday we took advantage of the beautiful weather and headed to the coast.

We chose to return to the place of our most recent coastal visit a couple months ago. This particular beach is reachable only by hiking 1.8 miles down, so there are fewer people that go.






We arrived at low tide and my daughters thoroughly enjoyed looking in the many tide pools.



These are my favorite kinds of days - filled with adventure, discovery, excitement and rest - and shared with some of my favorite people.

    This one was a different shade of purple than we have ever seen before. Usually they are more maroon.

    So beautiful. The best places seem to be off the beaten path (and away from all the crowds) :)
