Boot Camp - Day 27

Photos

It's going to take me a while to tackle this monster. Here's what we are looking at....

And this picture was take AFTER throwing away two albums. Like I said, it's going to take a while. But I have a plan, and I'm excited to get started. I'll come back and post my results when I'm done. It might be a while, though.

In the meantime, I thought I would let you peek at my minimalist night stand.
I'm certainly no expert, but I think that's about as minimalist as you can get in this area! I don't know why, but I've never had a night stand. I think at first it was lack of funds to buy the ones that matched our bed. In other homes there was lack of space. And now...I guess there is the lack of needing one!

I'm not being totally honest...on my husband's side of the bed we have this.
It's a cheap telephone stand we converted to a nightstand years ago. I love that it's only big enough to hold a few things.

We also don't have end or coffee tables in our living room, nor dressers in our bedrooms!

  2. Hey Jill!

Wow. You are almost done. You've really powered through the whole month of bootcamp! I love your "minimalist night stand", what a cute shot showing the clear, open space next to your bed.

I'm with you on the dresser/end tables thing. Not having a dresser was just downright liberating, first I had to cull my clothes, but once I did, wow, the open space felt magnificent!

I can't wait to see your photos, though I know it will take a while. After spending a week off and on helping out with my "friend's photos" I have a newfound appreciation for what it takes to downsize 40 years worth of shots. I didn't have too many to begin with so it was such a big deal for me.
