Arizona - Day 3 - Montezuma's Castle and Well

Making our way back to Phoenix, we decided to stop and see the National Historic Monument called Montezuma's Castle and Montezuma's Well. They are about 12 miles apart from each other, and both feature ancient Native American dwellings.

As we drove south, we drove through the desert and were treated to many views of saguro cacti

  2. Montezuma, such a melodic name:) Hope to see their dwellings at some time in person! Always have have admired the ability of the Native American to conquer nature in such harsh conditions! That big pond takes my breath away! Many thanks for sharing this part of Arizona with All Seasons with the rest of the world. Have a beautiful week, Jesh
