Last week during our read aloud, this sweet bird (fox sparrow) flew right into our window and crashed hard. We went outside to see if it was ok and to get it up off the ground (away from neighborhood cats). After about 30 minutes of resting, it was ready to fly away.
Other recent sightings include a spotted towhee...
and a varied thrush...
