Some of the smaller, more delicate wildflowers were blooming and it was beautiful.

Family Hike
Well thanks to COVID 19, our St. Patrick's Day did not include playing our two gigs that we've been looking forward to for a long time. Instead, we took advantage of the sunshine and time off work and school and hit the trail. We live in an area with access to many different kinds of hiking trails, and this time we chose to cross the river and go to an area in Washington. We've been there many times over the years, but there are so many different loops that you can have a lot of variety even if you return regularly.

Greetings Elke
Hikes are true medicine right now!!
ReplyDeleteLove the image for your thumbnail! So many wildflowers. The yellow ones remind me of snow drops. Stunning captures, and enviable views where you hiked! Many thanks for sharing this beauty with All Seasons, since some are required to stay inside (depending on where they live). Have a beautiful week, Jill!
ReplyDeleteStunning! I'm taking deep breaths depending I'm there. Thanks for the virtual hike. Take care.
ReplyDeleteA beautiful setting for a hike this time of year. On St. Patrick's day I stayed home and made dinner and invited our friend from across the hall to join us. - Margy
