We were desperate for sun and fresh air so we drove 30 miles east for a family hike/walk along the Deschutes River. It was chilly and windy, but the sun was out and it felt so good to soak up some vitamin D.
This area fell victim to some wildfires 1 1/2 years ago. We hadn't been there since the fires, but we saw plenty of evidence that fire had swept through this area.
So good to be out in nature!! Amazing to see remains from the fires.
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful it must've been to stretch your legs in that gorgeous landscape.
ReplyDeleteYou went pretty high up on your walk! It's amazing with fires in the mountains that the leftovers can be seen so long after! Thank you much for sharing this beautiful region your family hiked in. Have an adventurous week:)
ReplyDeleteWonderful pics! I love that reflection shot.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shots! We've been trying to get out for some hikes here and there whenever the weather allows to soak up some of that fresh air and vitamin D for sure.
