The house we live in sits across the street from a lake and right next to a pond. It's the perfect environment and habitat for frogs. Every year I am amazed at how many frogs make my garden their home. For some reason they really congregate in one corner of the garden and rest on the leaves and flowers of four or five different plants. I love going outside every day and looking at them - taking photos of the ones that are perched on flowers. Here are several photos I took last night. I'll include a video or two at the end of the post so you can see just how many there are.

ReplyDeleteI see frogs on my plants sometimes, but never on the flower petals. Your photos are amazing! Thanks for sharing them with us
ReplyDeleteI have never seen anything like this - so many in one spot and perched on top of the flowers. You are lucky indeed. Just think how many insects they're eating!!! They are so cute, too!
ReplyDeleteOh, my word! I would spend all summer out there with them taking their photos!! How fabulous for you!

Nice to meet you again at WednesdayAroundTheWorld... great captures
ReplyDeleteThey're so cute but scary looking at the same time. Do they make a certain sound or any sound? I imagine they keep the garden cleaned of bugs that might harm the plants? We sometimes have one or two frogs and did see a tree frog the last couple years, but only one. They surprise me when not expecting to see them jump. Enjoyed the video.
