November can be such a hard month....darkness settles in earlier each day, the rain and gray skies return and most of the leaves have fallen. But it can also be one of the most beautiful months. Because the rain has returned, the color green has returned! And the leaves that still remain on select trees are just stunning! The Japanese Maples are some of the last trees to turn color and they are breathtaking.

Wow, these mushrooms are amazing, and the red maple is so pretty! Unfortunately in Calif. where I live, we have to wait for green till spring!
