I've been on the hunt for a new purse to replace my backpack and this week I found one that I love. It's smaller than I'm used to, but that's a good thing. It means I'll be forced to carry less. I love the color, I love the style  and I'm so happy the hunt is over. It was even pretty reasonably priced!

a turkey dinner for no reason in the middle of February! 

I've been trying to use up / eat up what we have on hand this month and next. We've got a couple turkeys in the freezer so I decided to make a big meal this week!

We've taken our house OFF the market and have begun some remodeling. No doors were opening for us in our desire to move, so we took that as a clear sign from God that we are to stay here for a while. currently the bathroom looks much worse than this photo - the mirror and sink are gone - I was just too lazy to take a photo, upload a photo...  Taking a hammer to this tile made me so happy. I've been wanting to do that for 2 1/2 years!
