They can't check out books, but they have been trying to visit as many libraries as they can. I think they spend an hour or two, and she and her children read books there.

Candi...I just ordered "The Story of Stuff" from my library. Thanks for the suggestion.

Christa...I currently have 72 books checked out. Granted, most of them are picture books for my kids, but several are for me. It's not uncommon for us to hit 100. Unfortunately, when we have that many, it begins to feel like clutter and weighs heavily on me.Jill Foleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15919221814694982320noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6602022414393987181.post-69949602248517891942011-09-22T06:18:25.592-07:002011-09-22T06:18:25.592-07:00After being a minimalist for a couple of years, I ...After being a minimalist for a couple of years, I have finally followed my passion and got a part time job at the library. I love, love, love my job, and it always thrills my soul to see someone check out a big stack of books like this. I have about 30 checked out on my own account too. lol! But there are much worse habits! ;)

I'm reading the Story of Stuff by Annie Leonard and I'm devouring it like I usually devour chick lit. It's informative and a great read, I think everyone should read it!Candi @ min hushttp://minhus.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6602022414393987181.post-79106664493766003722011-09-20T10:02:48.968-07:002011-09-20T10:02:48.968-07:00Living the mobile lifestyle I can't get a libr...Living the mobile lifestyle I can't get a library card so all my reading is now done electronically. Instead of visiting the library I get free eBooks, mostly from ManyBooks.net. That means most of what I read now was written in the late 1800s or early 1900s. I find it amazing how the stories written then still apply to life today.Linda Sandhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12734450335251336493noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6602022414393987181.post-89657387539007360192011-09-20T02:22:43.477-07:002011-09-20T02:22:43.477-07:00I have rediscovered the library about four years a...I have rediscovered the library about four years ago.
